Recalling the brutality of kids who pick on those who are "different"... it's a sad day that packs of middle-school age girls (and boys) are permitted by a school to engage in such flippant behavior towards someone who is physically handicapped.
Is it 2003? I have to keep checking my calendar to be sure... It feels more like 1903 sometimes. Must be a Microsoft Y2K problem effecting changes in the real world.

Some of you may know that I went through some nasty bullying at school (one boy even tried to strangle me with a scarf when I was in Year 11 - that's age 15-16). I don't class my experiences as being anywhere near as bad as this.. so I sympathise with the girl. It was hard enough for me - it must've been hell for her. I'm glad her parents took her away from there.
